2018 Vista Luna Vineyard Zinfandel

Vista Luna is an organically farmed vineyard by Markus Bokisch in the Borden Ranch area of Lodi. The Cellars 33 block is between Turley and Neyers, two of California's most renowned Zin producers. The block is officially planted to Primitivo, a genetically identical wine to Zinfandel.

33% in once used French Oak. A delicious, full bodied ZIn that maintains a juicy mid-palate without going over the top on flavor or alcohol. We often describe our Zins as "A Zin made by a Pinot Noir producer." We believe that with proper vineyard yields, a relatively early pick date, and a modest oak program, Zinfandel can be nearly as versatile with food as Pinot Noir. Yes, we strongly believe that. ;-)
