2019 Sonoma County Pinot Noir - 90 points WE

With the introduction of a wonderful new vineyard up on Sonoma Mountain, our appellation bottling is now identified as "Sonoma County" rather than "Sonoma Coast." Vineyards on Sonoma Mountain are not considered part of the Sonoma Coast, hence the name change.

Often blended wines can be equally compelling as single vineyard wines - the combination of different clones from different vineyards throughout Sonoma can result in unique complexities to reveal themselves in wine. We believe that to be the case here.

Our first wine to be released from the wonderful 2019 vintage, the Sonoma County is ready to roll - we've already had about a case ourselves "checking in" on it to make sure it's ready. If you enjoyed our 2017 Sonoma Coast Pinot Coast, you definitely need to check this out.
